Ivan to resume his witness in the U.S.

Seer Ivan Dragicevic is scheduled to resume his public witness in the U.S. to the Medjugorje phenomenon on March 18 at the J. Scheidegger Centre, Linwood University, St Charles, MO.

Promoter of the event, Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich Foundation, lists on its programme that Ivan will also receive an apparition of Our Lady at 6:40pm, after which the seer will give testimony and answer questions from the ticketed audience.

Public prayer meetings focusing on the Medjugorje phenomenon were suppressed in the U.S. when, in February 2013, Cardinal Müller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, requested the Bishops of the United States (via the papal nuncio to the U.S. Mons Carlo Vigano) remind clerics and the faithful that they “are not permitted to participate in meetings, conferences or public celebrations during which the credibility of such ‘apparitions’ would be taken for granted.”

However, this ‘ruling’ is not applied with any consistency by bishops in other parts of the world.

In November last year, Ivan Dragicevic was allowed to witness and receive Our Lady’s apparition in St Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna, Austria, with the blessing of Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, and also in Germany, while other Medjugorje visionaries Vicka Ivankovic and Jakov Colo have recently witnessed at public venues in Italy.
